Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi

The more the personality dimensions of this martyr become known, the more I find him admirable

Statement of Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nurmufidi after the martyrdom of Yahya al-Sinwar

Ayatullah S. Mujtaba Nurmufidi, the head of the Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies, at the beginning of his al-Bahth al-kharij course, discussed the martyrdom of Yahya al-Sinwar, the explanation of this statement is as follows:

Regarding the martyrdom of Hamas leader Yahya al-Sinwar, which happened two or three days ago, I think that this martyr has the right to be talked about. Everyone knows that Israel did not stop any crimes in the last one year. Really, silence in front of these crimes, which is beyond genocide, is treason. Everyone should step in the way of condemning this regime, exposing the crimes of the leaders of that regime, clarifying the facts and helping the oppressed people of Lebanon and Palestine. Really, the scenes that happened in the bombing of Beirut and Gaza last days and nights, which targeted residential areas, and the images of which were published from the very first moments, are really unbearable, taking children out from under the rubble with dusty, bloody and strange faces. It is that the world is only watching, some governments even in this situation say that Israel has the right to defend itself, so many people are being dragged to the ground and blood on a daily basis, it does not show any reaction, and then if one person or if something happens to him somewhere, then their screams will deafen everyone’s ears.

These days, it is sometimes heard that Yahya Sinwar, as the designer of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, caused the death and bloodshed of a large number of Palestinian and Lebanese people and caused a lot of material damage, and they want to downplay the importance of his work and his role. I would like to summarize very briefly that what was done in this one year, which started with that operation, overturned many of the plans of world Zionism, with the path that they had designed for themselves and wanted to be known as the Abraham Pact. And create an alliance between Israel and many Islamic countries and design a specific path for the flow of the world economy, and this will be the beginning of Israel’s next aggressions to other lands, this stopped their dreams and imaginations, they wanted to do it. They thought they could reach those destinations without any problems or obstacles, but this operation, which was planned by this martyr, ruined these plans. At one time, at the beginning of the war, I remember Imam Khumayni addressing the Arab countries, especially in the Persian Gulf, saying: If Saddam gains power, he will not show mercy to any of you. On that day, perhaps many people did not take this seriously, but during the attack Saddam proved this to Kuwait. If Saddam gained power, that person with those characteristics would not show mercy to any country and nation and wanted to subjugate all of them. Israel is also the same. And if it can, it will not show mercy to any Islamic country, this is not a slogan, it is a fact.

The nature and truth of this regime is that if it gets the chance, it will realize the dream from the Nile to the Euphrates. They are not satisfied with this amount. When they first came to occupied Palestine, see how many percent of this land they had in their possession, after a few years, how many percentage changed, they will follow the same towards Islamic countries, but by the grace of God, the current of resistance has been present in this region for years and has prevented these criminals from carrying out their sinister plans.

Martyr Yahya al-Sinwar was one of the pillars of this resistance, he really had an admirable character, in terms of perseverance, he spent maybe more than a third of his life in prison, but he never despaired, he did not stop trying in the end despite difficulties and problems, he was a human being, tireless, strong, powerful and uncompromising; Despite many hardships, he never thought of surrendering and compromising with the Zionist enemy. The more the dimensions of this martyr’s personality become known, the more I find him admirable, and of course the Israeli regime thinks that by removing this martyr and others like him, it can deal with the assassination of Yahya al-Sinwar, Hassan Nasrullah, Isma’il Haniyeh and other members of the resistance will reach its ominous goals, while these bloods will definitely make the tree of resistance stronger, from the heart of these testimonies, a new generation will emerge who are more strongly committed to the resistance and will take revenge for these bloods. His way of life and his martyrdom against the wishes of his enemies will become a model for Palestinian youth.

May God, God willing, make him a lover of Ahl al-Bayt, because he mentioned Imam Ali (‘a) and Karbala’ in his words, and this shows his love for Ahl al-Bayt (‘a), may he be subject to their forgiveness and mercy, and may he be with his guardians on the resurrection day.
