A group of elite Sunni seminary students, scholars, and cultural activists from Golestan Province visited the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence and met with Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, the President of the Research Institute.
At the beginning of this program, the guests gathered in the auditorium of the Research Institute, where explanations regarding the objectives, programs, and structure of the Institute—including its various research departments and ongoing academic projects—were presented.
Subsequently, the elite Sunni seminary students and scholars visited the library of the Research Institute and became acquainted with specialized books and resources on contemporary jurisprudence. Following this, the directors of the research departments provided the necessary explanations.
At the conclusion of this program, the guests convened in the meeting hall of the Research Institute to meet and hold discussions with Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, the President of the Research Institute.
Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, President of the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence, while pointing out that this unity and empathy among schools of thought (madhahib) is the fruit of the efforts of the late Imam and the Supreme Leader, stated: Truly, unity is among the unalterable principles of the Supreme Leader, which was achieved through his steadfastness and firm adherence to this principle and by paying its costs. Through his persistence in this principle and by bearing costs—many of which the general public is unaware—he materialized this vital matter in our society.
Continuing, while commemorating Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and stating that he was the “Master of Martyrs” (Sayyid al-Shuhada) of recent times, he added: The manifestation of unity today is evident in the developments of Lebanon and Palestine, where Shia and Sunni protect and defend one another, and we see how these spilled bloods have intertwined the hearts of the Shia of Lebanon and the Sunnis of Palestine.
In conclusion, praying for the victory of the Islamic Ummah, he stated: God willing, the blood of Martyr Haniyeh and Martyr Nasrallah, alongside the blood currently being shed, will make the tree of resistance even more robust, and the Zionists will achieve nothing through these brutal atrocities.
