“The principle of non-harm” is one of the most important jurisprudential rules that plays a key role in clarifying many branches of jurisprudence. This rule, with about sixty branches, is used in various aspects of worship and transactions, and in many cases also has social aspects. Such as the obligation to obey the Imam to confront oppression, making peace with polytheists, and the abolition of imposing the hadd penalty in case of fear of harm.
