Joint Meeting of the Scientific Council of the Departments of Natural Resources Jurisprudence and Economic Jurisprudence with the Head of the Research Institute

The joint meeting of the board of directors of the Contemporary Jurisprudence Research Institute with the members of the scientific council of the Departments of Natural Resources Jurisprudence and Economic Jurisprudence was held on Wednesday, Azar 8, in the meeting hall.

In this meeting, the members of the scientific council of the Department of Economic Jurisprudence, Ayatollah Dr. Agha-Nazari, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Masoumi-Nia, and Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Yousefi, and from the Department of Natural Resources Jurisprudence, Hujjaj al-Islam Dr. Borji, Dr. Farahani, and Dr. Fahimi, were present. After providing a brief report on the activities of the two departments, they presented a report on the review of four submitted research proposals, the determination of research priorities, as well as seven meetings held during eighteen months of activity.

Among the proposals raised were the necessity of accelerating the review of the proposals approved in the department, the necessity of forming a system of topics, greater use of media capacity for the better dissemination and promotion of scientific meetings, and the necessity of more effective communication with educational institutions and the employment of their graduates.

In the continuation of the meeting, Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, the head of the Contemporary Jurisprudence Research Institute, while thanking the scientific members present at the session for their views and criticisms, emphasized the acceleration of the approval of proposals and its necessity, and reiterated it.

He also pointed to the necessity of cooperation with other institutions and considered the best method of cooperation to be the professors’ utilization of teaching capacities and the university and seminary students with whom they have scientific programs.
