The Deputy for Communications and International Affairs of Islamic Seminaries Nationwide visited the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence on Tuesday, March 4. Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Hosseini Kohsari then attended the Board of Directors meeting, engaging in discussions with the President and officials of the Research Institute.
In this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Dorri, Vice President of the Research Institute, first presented a report on the Institute’s various international activities, listing among them: translation of books produced by the Institute, translation of entries for the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Jurisprudence, launch of the Arabic and English languages on the Institute’s official website, multilingual brochures, the project introducing international jurisprudential-legal centers worldwide, disseminating information on major jurisprudential-legal conferences and academic sessions in other countries, and establishing ties with global academic centers.
Subsequently, Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, President of the Research Institute, while welcoming Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Kohsari and his accompanying delegation, described an international approach to jurisprudence in research and communications as one of the Institute’s vital strategies, expressing hope that with the support of seminary headquarters centers such as the International Affairs Department, this strategy will be realized in a better and more impactful manner.
Following him, the Deputy for Communications and International Affairs of Islamic Seminaries, while expressing joy at the substantial volume of international activities at the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence and declaring full readiness for synergy and support of these activities, emphasized the necessity of introducing the Institute in the international arena and establishing international exchanges and visits.
Then, Dr. Shi’i, Vice President of the International Complex of Islamic Seminaries, outlined points for cooperation between the two centers.
At the conclusion of this meeting, 12 items were raised as fields for joint activity, and the necessity of more detailed discussions in future sessions was emphasized.
