National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance

National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance

On the 13th of Aban (November 4th), several historical events took place; however, the core significance is that this day has been designated as a symbolic occasion for confronting global arrogance. While this is an highly important commemoration, the struggle against arrogance must be comprehensive and extend beyond mere slogans and propaganda. Indeed, it must be integrated into the executive, legislative, and judicial frameworks of the country, and the public must be well-acquainted with its necessity. It is crucial that the bottlenecks, pressures, and livelihood difficulties faced by the people do not, God forbid, lead them to a point where they lose focus on these fundamental issues, or that hardships, problems, and, God forbid, discrimination and injustice demotivate them regarding this struggle.

Standing firm and resisting arrogance is a Qur’anic principle. Human historical experiences throughout past eras, and even in contemporary history, bear witness to the fact that if steadfastness, resistance, and struggle against bullying, imposition, and pressure from foreign adversaries do not occur, no fortunate outcome will await any nation. Of course, hardships and problems do exist, but as far as possible, these challenges must be alleviated through systematic planning and wise governance, God willing. Today, the world of arrogance stands united against the Islamic Ummah and the followers of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), employing all their capabilities. The prerequisite for success in confronting the United States and all its allies is the realization of genuine unity and solidarity within the broader Islamic Ummah, and specifically among the nation within Iran, alongside meticulous planning, so that, God willing, we can lead Iran and the school of the Ahl al-Bayt through this confrontation with honor and dignity.

In any case, the reality remains that the nature and character of the enemies and their hostility always dictate that they advance their objectives through deception. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution places such great emphasis on the issue of resistance precisely because, despite the enemies’ superficial and deceitful slogans, should surrender and compromise take place, nothing of value would be gained by the nation. This is a reality we must all recognize, striving, God willing, in unified and closed ranks, with hope for a bright and better future, to realize the objectives of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt. May all these tribulations be resolved with the reappearance of the Imam of the Time (may Allah hasten his return).
