Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi: Seeking Knowledge and Strengthening Faith Is the Most Despair-Inducing Weapon Against the Enemies of Iran
According to the Public Relations of the General Directorate for Renovation, Development, and Equipping of Schools in Markazi Province, Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, President of the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence and prominent Professor of Advanced Classes at the Islamic Seminary of Qom, who participated in the foundation brick laying ceremony for the 9-classroom Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified) School in Khomein, considered the enemies’ objective in destroying schools to be severing the new generation’s bond with national history and identity, emphasizing: Through scientific and moral endeavor, students can revive the honors of this land.

On the sidelines of this ceremony, in response to a question posed by a student regarding his message for the country’s future-builders, Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, pointing to the non-military nature of this educational facility, stated: Students of this school felt with their entire being what the enemy’s objective is in destroying such locations. Enemies of religion and this homeland seek to hold you back from the caravan of civilization and science, distance you from the steps of faith, and sever your bond with the proud identity of the past.
Emphasizing the deep-rooted nature of Iranian civilization, he further added: Countries pioneering these hostilities possess no history, and the lifespan of some among them is even shorter than the ancient trees of Khomein. Because they possess no honors themselves, they view their sole avenue for self-expression in destroying the honors of nations.
Stating that scientific and faithful endeavors transform enemy hope into despair, the Professor at the Islamic Seminary of Qom noted: “If you students study with greater determination, grow with noble ethics, reinforce the foundations of faith within yourselves, and strengthen your bond with your family and people, enemies will never be able to look covetously upon this homeland.”
In conclusion, referencing the special stature of Khomein County as the birthplace of Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified), Ayatullah Nur Mufidi expressed hope: God willing, a day will arrive when the students of this very school, through creating honors in scientific, cultural, and sports fields, will evoke the luminaries of this land—a land whose grand Imam changed contemporary history and brought independence and freedom for the Iranian nation.
