Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Nourmifidi in a Meeting with Fatimiyyah Preachers: One Whose Pleasure and Anger Are Bound with the Pleasure and Anger of God is the Best Role Model for Life in All Eras

In a meeting with a group of Fatimiyyah preachers, while expressing the growing need of humanity in the contemporary world for comprehensive and perfect role models, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Nourmifidi introduced Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) as a perfect human being and said: “The peerless personality of Fatima (peace be upon her) possesses all the characteristics of a suitable and presentable role model in all human societies.”

The professor of advanced lectures on jurisprudence and principles at the Qom Seminary stated: “The days of Fatimiyyah are the best opportunity to explain the various dimensions of her character, and the most suitable platform to attract hearts thirsty for virtue and truth toward someone who is the embodiment of virtues and the complete mirror of truth.”

He added: “One whose pleasure and anger are bound with the pleasure and anger of God, and whose satisfaction and dissatisfaction are considered the criteria and indicators of truth and falsehood and distinguishing the genuine from the counterfeit, is the best role model and guide for life in all eras.”

This professor of advanced lectures, referring to some of her virtues and merits, stated: “Instead of rigid adherence to certain outward appearances of the life of Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her), the clear line of her personality in various individual, social, political, economic, and family dimensions must be extracted and presented in a format appropriate to the needs and tastes of today’s humanity, and this is a very heavy mission of the preachers.”

Furthermore, referring to the necessity of vigilance in these circumstances where the enemies of Islam seek the weakness and laxity of Muslims and scheme to create division and discord, he said: “Today, unity among Muslims is an undeniable necessity, and the days of Fatimiyyah themselves can significantly contribute to strengthening Islamic solidarity. Every step in this path will bring pleasure to the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) and Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her).”

The Qom Seminary professor also added: “Affection for Her Eminence al-Siddiqah al-Tahirah (peace be upon her) and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is the common ground of all Muslims, and while emphasizing it, we must strive to present the true face of these perfect human beings to both Muslims and non-Muslims.”
