Condolence Message of Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba Nur Mufidi Following the Martyrdom of Dr. Ali Larijani, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Khatib, and Major General Soleimani

“Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”

The news of the proud martyrdom of the courageous and farsighted Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Dr. Ali Larijani; the dedicated Minister of Intelligence, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Khatib; a group of the country’s valiant military commanders—particularly the loyal commander, Major General Gholamreza Soleimani; and innocent civilians (may Allah’s pleasure be upon them), although wounding the hearts of devotees of the system and Iran, strengthened the resolve of the people, commanders, and officials in standing firm against the brutal, frantic aggressions of the enemies of Islam and Iran, laying bare the ruthless and criminal face of the American and Zionist enemy more than ever.

I extend my condolences on the tragedy of the loss of these dear martyrs to the Supreme Leader, the anonymous soldiers of Imam Zaman (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the devoted military personnel and Basijis, and the noble Iranian nation; and I beseech Almighty God for the resurrection of those dear martyrs alongside the martyrs of Karbala, and for victory, triumph over enemies, patience, and tranquility for the noble nation of Iran.
