The election season is not far off, about which I will make a brief remark. Anyone, with any taste, viewpoint, perspective, and with any degree of dissatisfaction, if they analyze matters well, will realize that not participating in the elections yields no result whatsoever. This has a completely rational and logical basis. No excuse for absence and non-participation in the elections is acceptable. Even if someone has criticisms regarding some matters. This arena must not be weakened. The weakening of the people’s presence in the election arena increases the audacity and greed of the enemies to confront this country. It is also necessary for those in charge to provide the grounds for holding a spirited election and, with forbearance, make possible the competition between different viewpoints and tastes. This is a duty, this is a responsibility and a right. We must recognize our right, and fulfill both our responsibility and our duty, and God willing, may that which is good and expedient come to pass for the country.
